Repair broken drawers with Super Glue quickly.

Many people have been here: you pull that desk drawer open and the drawer face comes completely off. Once the initial shock has worn off, and the scattering of papers and debris has been cleaned up, next comes the game plan. A broken wooden drawer can’t easily be replaced, especially if the desk is older. With Super Glue’s Fix-All Adhesive, that gaping hole in the desk can easily become a quick-fix.

Steps to Desk Drawer Repair

First gather the drawer face and remove the entire drawer from the desk. If drawer contents haven’t already been emptied, do this now or things could get messy. Then, move the parts to a protected work area and let the repair begin.

The tube of Fix-All Adhesive will need to be pierced before applying it, so use the outer cap to penetrate the seal. Be careful to do this while pointing away from the body and face.

Next, apply the adhesive generously to both surfaces, the edge of the broken drawer face and the drawer itself. Then press the pieces together, you can leave the drawer face down during the drying time of 10 minutes.

Lastly, let the adhesive cure for 24 hours before returning the drawer to the desk and back to its full-time position of clutter keeper.
