Weatherstripping done right with Super Glue's best adhesives.

Weatherstrips that are used and worn can come loose – it happens. The good news is that you don’t necessarily have to replace them. That’s where Super Glue’s Super Weatherstrip Adhesive, from their Pro Seal line of products, comes in handy.

This product is ideal for securing worn or damaged weatherstrips. It’s also high strength, fast drying and can bond to several different surfaces.

Tips For Weatherstripping

For starters, if you’re looking to secure your weatherstrip to your door, you want to position it high enough so it doesn’t drag any rugs. It would be ideal if you mark the placement beforehand.

Secondly, you’re going to want to make sure the surface area of your weatherstrip and your door or window are dry and wax free.

Then apply the Super Weatherstrip Adhesive to both surfaces, and allow it to dry for 3 to 5 minutes. When you’re ready to secure it, apply a thin second coat to the weatherstripping and attach it to its proper position immediately.

The once pesky, detached weather strip will now be secured and should stay in place, even on the most frequently used doors or windows.
