Dental Labs like Super Glue in Bottles

Here’s a great customer story from Helen P.  She’s talking about our super glue bottles :  “We use this product in a dental laboratory to glue articulators a KV33 Corp product.  They hinge and give you the exact position of the upper and lower of the mouth.  We originally used a product similar to yours that was in a tube at $10.00 a tube and had to spray the glue and it would sometimes make foam even on our hands.  This product of yours I picked up at the Dollar Store and we were hooked.  It was easy to use and we were able to pin point the area to apply it to and did not get it on our hands.  Plus the fact that after OSHA enacted some of their rules the other glue would run on the rubber gloves we were using and the rubber would adhere even to our hands so your product has been a boon to us.  I believe you could cater this product to the dental laboratories as it does not require the spray also and is much more economical to use and with less mess and waste.  Thank you and hope what I am telling you will help other professions with this wonderful product.”  We appreciate hearing from our customers!

I read this article with great interest…will any of your glues work safely to glue a plastic orthodontic appliance than has begun to tear?
    Thanks for great products!

  2. Hi Robin:
For a very temporary solution you might be able to use our Future Glue(R) or The Original Super Glue(R), but water, washing and rinsing are a problem for super glues as they do break down in water. The repair might last a little while, but will not be a permanent fix. Additionally, some plastics are harder to bond than others — you would have to try it and see if it would work for your purposes.
Good luck & thanks for writing in – appreciate your kind words about our products!
